When choosing lighting for your entry it is important not to go too small. Typically lanterns next to a doorway will range between 25% and 33% of the door opening. Rear doors often have
a smaller fixture. Taking a picture of the front of your home before looking for outside lighting puts the primary view of the home in your hand. Look for styles that have a “full series.” There will be several sizes of lanterns and post heads to fit the space available.
